This weekend the Medway High School Musical, Disney's The Little Mermaid, shows will be Friday night March 9th at 7:30pm, Saturday March 10th at 2:00 and 7:30pm at the high school auditorium. Tickets can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets or at the door. With director, Kendra Nutting, and musical director, Jesse Alling, the cast has been practicing since January. More recently behind the scenes the set has been designed and built with a crew of volunteers. I stopped in last Saturday. Local carpenter, Dan Bergeron, was building a table strong enough for the performers to be dancing on. Dan and his son, Lorcan, have been volunteering their talents by building the set for both the High School and Middle School musicals.
High school students "the crew" have been getting together almost every day to build, paint, and assemble the set. Many parents, other students and alumni have been helping out too.
Here's a sneak peak at some of their amazing work:

Congratulations everyone on all your hard work! We are looking forward to a fantastic show!
